Arkansas is home to the Ozarks, the birthplace and stomping grounds of Bill Clinton, and Wal-Mart's corporate headquarters in Rogers, Arkansas. Wal-Mart was founded by Sam Walton in 1962 and has grown into the world's largest retailer.
The capital is Little Rock and there are relaxing thermal pools at Hot Springs National Park.
Many think of retirement in Arkansas as the Ozark Mountain region but there is a lot more territory in the state.
