William Ferry – Photographer, Writer and Traveler –Bill has been able to showcase a series of passions into a popular website and periodic travel blog. As photography has moved into the digital age, Bill’s enthusiasm & skill for shooting has grown exponentially. In addition to his internet presence, Ferry has enjoyed a modest bit of fame by exhibiting and selling his prints in the fine art arena. Bill considers it a blessing to be possessed by the travel bug. In the last decade he & his wife have crisscrossed the US & Canada by bike, car, train, RV and by foot. His travels have also taken him to a number of European nations. Bill doesn’t need an excuse to travel – just an open calendar. In his working years, he was an executive in the construction materials industry and later a publisher of a travel newsletter and former board member of the Southern Oregon Visitor’s Association.
Tom Smith – Tom Smith Travel – A world traveler himself, Tom is a member and affiliate of The Travel Society – A Virtuoso Member. Specializing in foreign independent travel, Tom has been a travel agent for 36 years. His specialties are adventure travel, cruises, river cruises and foreign independent travel. Tom’s special areas of the world are: South America, Southeast Asia, India, Australia/New Zealand, South Africa and Europe.
Cherie Henry – Senior Housing – A member of the “golden girls” team at Golden Placement Services, Cherie is a senior housing and transition specialist. She has extensive experience as a licensed administrator in assisted living communities. Cherie has a passion for making sure seniors are secure, comfortable, and happy, so she works diligently to ensure they find that right place. Cherie has been happily married to her best friend for over 30 years and loves travel and golf, preferably together.
Julia Ruscitti – Medicare Insurance – A native Oregonian, Julia is a graduate of Portland State University and has been involved in insurance sales and consulting for the past nine years. She is very knowledgeable in all aspects of Medicare supplements including MedAdvantage plans, Medigap, and stand alone RX plans. Julia is also a Financial Benefits Counselor for The Sons of Norway. Mei Wong – Care Option Resources– Mei, a Certified Geriatric Wellness Instructor with Memory Enhancement, is CEO of Care Option Resources (COR), which helps veterans and widows with acquiring their benefits. She is also on the Board for Thelma’s Place, a nonprofit resource center that serves seniors and families. She serves on the Board of the Business Advisory Committee of Oregon and is President and Founder of Senior Resources Today.
Brittany Weiler – Care Option Resources– Like Mei, Brittany also works with Veterans, surviving spouses and their families to better understand the benefits available to them through the Veterans Administration. She is also a certified Geriatric Wellness Instructor with Memory Enhancement and has experience in the senior industry and in insurance & retirement planning. Brittany is a native Oregonian, loves the outdoors and feels truly blessed to be surrounded by amazing friends and family, always wanting to give back.
Dr. John M. Kalb – Winning at Aging – John is a chiropractic physician, men’s movement elder, educator, scientist, and health coach. Craig Foster – Real Estate – Craig began his real estate career in Ashland, Oregon and moved to the Portland area in 1988. He has owned and managed large independent and nationally franchised offices and served as a National Trainer/Coach, Broker Council Chairman, and MLS Chairman.
