Huntsville is located in the northernmost part of Alabama, and is the county seat of Madison County and the fourth-largest city in the state. History buffs will enjoy exploring the area which was named by the National Trust for Historic Preservation to its "America's Dozen Distinctive Destinations for 2010" list. Kiplinger's Personal Finance named Huntsville as America's Best City in 2009. Population: 180,105 as of the 2010 Census.

Travel and tourism: As a 200 year old city, Huntsville can send you to the moon and stars at the Space and Rocket Center, or back to the city’s beginnings at Constitution Hall Village. With one of the highest per capita income levels in the Southeast, Huntsville specializes in shopping options from unique boutiques to large malls and antique shops.
