Transportation:Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority operates an extensive system of bus, subway, and light rail lines. Los Angeles International Airport is the third busiest in the United States. Something to delight retirees would be a trip on the passenger ferry to the city of Avalon on Santa Catalina Island.

Travel and tourism: In a city like LA, there is never a question as to what to do, only where to begin. Many famous attractions are concentrated in a relatively small area including parks, architectural landmarks, art museums and galleries, beaches, hiking, shopping, movies (of course!), as well as live music and comedy provided by performers both legendary and yet-to-be-discovered.
